A long way into it now but still I have not really come to terms with it (in a pleasant way). Certainly I am busier now than I was when I was working, much, much more playing and I've spent a great deal of time transcribing Baroque orchestral music from original manuscripts which are now easily available.
There have been other adventures too, dead end adventures leading to nothing, but fun while they lasted.
They tell me that acceptance of this will kick in, but I'd expected it to happen much sooner, in fact I see no sign of it kicking in at all. Once I have a day free (and I haven't had a free days for several weeks now) I must go and do something that I could not do whilst I was working.
